Stephen Troy Cox, MPAS, PA-C received his Bachelor of Science in May of 2007, and his Physician Assistant certificate in July of 2007 from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio. In addition to his Physician Assistant’s training program, Mr. Cox also received his Master of Physician Assistant Studies with a concentration in Dermatology in 2011 from the University of Nebraska. Before focusing on private practice dermatology care in 2008, he worked as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine at Carondelet – St. Joseph’s Hospital here in Tucson. Mr. Cox joined HealthySkin Dermatology in 2018, bringing 10 years of experience to our Sahuarita and Tucson patients. Not only is he a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Tucson Dermatology Society, he is also a Diplomate for the Society of Dermatological Physician Assistants. This distinction of “Diplomate” is given only to those members who have dedicated extensive time to the study and practice of dermatological care.
