Taking good care of your skin starts with a good skin care routine.

There's no need to use 10 different skin care products to maintain healthy skin.

Skin rejuvenation is accomplished through cellular regeneration and maintaining the health of sun exposed skin, for the sun is very damaging. Sun avoidance as well as protective clothing, sun block/sunscreen is essential to any maintenance regime.

The three most important products that should be in every home involve Antioxidants, Vitamin A, and Sunscreen:

Antioxidants: are an emerging concept in skin health and maintenance. The sun’s ultraviolet radiation process tissue-damaging free radicals that are absorbed and neutralized by the antioxidants. Antioxidants for your skin are most effective when applied typically in a serum form. Vitamin C stimulates cell replication and collagen production, resulting in strengthening of the skin.

Vitamin A: I am sure you’ve heard the word Retinol or Retin-A name brand. Exfoliation or stimulation of the skin allow the dead skin to be removed, allowing the healthier layers to show. This makes your skin regenerate and look more vibrant.

Sunscreen: everyone under the sun should be protecting their skin from harmful rays. You should be wearing at least 30 SPF when exposed to the sun for short amounts of time. When in the sun for a prolonged amount of time doing activities, such as hiking, outdoor sports, or gardening, 50 SPF should be worn.

These products with long term use have shown to offer improvement to the overall health of the skin. Helping with fine lines, wrinkles, and pigmentation.
